The Mushroom Farm is one of only three farms awarded a grant through CARB’s FARMER Program (Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions). This grant covers 80% of the cost for farmers to replace diesel tractors with a less polluting alternative - Solectrac electric tractors.

This is an amazing opportunity to generate research and data for the FARMER program and support this timely initiative to decarbonize farming. In addition, through our Rhize Nonprofit program, we are offering the EV tractors as a shared resource to our local coastal community of small farmers, in hopes to increase the capacity for regenerative agriculture practices and food redistribution to communities in need.
